Donate through NAB home loan | GOOD2GIVE Payroll Deductions | Koala fund donations | Flying Fox fund donations | General donations | Bequests | Aviaries and cages

Fauna Rescue relies heavily on the public for donations to help our wildlife. All personal donations over $2.00 are tax deductable.

NAB home loans and Fauna Rescue partnership

NAB has partnered with Fauna Rescue to help raise funds for the Fauna Rescue Wildlife Centre.

How you can help without it costing you anything…

The partnership between Fauna Rescue and NAB Home Loans is a great way of helping to raise funds while hopefully saving you some money in the process.

NAB has established a home loan referral program where for every new Home Loan drawn down at NAB, the bank will pay Fauna Rescue a once off commission to the value of 0.4% of the loan amount. For a home loan of $300,000, the centre will receive a payment of $1,200. The money raised by this referral program will be put towards establishing a home base for Fauna Rescue and will ensure that the animals continue to receive excellent care.

So if you currently have a mortgage with another Bank or are about to purchase a new home please see if NAB can do better for you while also helping Fauna Rescue. For further information please contact Karen Patty at Nab on 8568 6897 or karen.d.patty@nab.com.au

NAB is just as passionate about helping you as you are about helping wild life.

GOOD2GIVE Payroll Deductions

By having a regular payroll deduction donated to Fauna Rescue we can raise a large amount of money to help us to care for native wildlife. The Scheme is administered by Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). The amount you donate is entirely up to you and is taken automatically from your pay BEFORE tax, which could

CAF do all the paperwork and at the end of the financial year a record of all your donations is sent to you for tax purposes. Fauna Rescue receives your whole donation (there are no accounting fees). Even a small regular donation soon adds up and it’s an easy, undemanding way ensure our group has a regular income and a positive future to look forward to. Please help us to continue caring for the fabulous wildlife we have in South Australia.

Bequests to Fauna Rescue of SA

Fauna Rescue of SA Inc relies heavily on the generosity of the community to help fund the rescue, rehabilitation and where possible the eventual release back to the wild of South Australia's native wildlife.

One of the ways you can help us is through leaving a bequest in your Will. There are various ways of doing this.

  • A proportion is a form where you bequeath a percentage of your estate, this is the most flexible option as it is not affected by changes to the value of your estate or inflation.
  • A specific sum of money, but this can be reduced in value over the years by inflation and remains fixed despite any increase or change in the value of your estate.
  • Property, which can be property or items of value etc. It is important to remember that if you dispose of any of these you will need to change your will or Fauna Rescue will not benefit.
  • Residue, when you have made provision for your family you may wish to leave the residue of your estate to Fauna Rescue.
The whole of your estate is also an option where you do not have any relationships for which you need to provide.

The suggested clause in your Will could read:
I give and bequeath to Fauna Rescue of South Australia Incorporated (ABN 20 601 494 364)
free of all duties for its general purposes the sum of $_____ OR _____% of my estate OR the residue of my estate. The receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of that organisation shall be sufficient discharge to my executors for this bequest.

Please reassure yourself and your family that all money received through bequests or donations will go towards benefiting native wildlife coming in to care.

Aviaries & Cages Needed

  • Do you live in the Adelaide area?
  • Do you have any aviaries or cages that you no longer use?

Fauna Rescue is in desperate need for facilities to help rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. At the moment our carers resources are stretched to the limit.

Particularly in spring there are birds and possums that require aviaries as part of their rehabilitation. For example a bird cannot be released until it has been flighted in a large aviary to build up its wing muscles.

Large Aviaries

For rehabilitation of wildlife we need aviaries that measure 6ft by 4ft and larger.

We do ask that the aviaries are in reasonable condition. We are happy to do minor repairs to aviaries but unfortunately our carers are pushed to the limit caring for wildlife to be undertaking major repair work.

Fauna Rescue can arrange pick up of any donated aviaries.

We are also in need of shade cloth to line aviaries with.

Small Aviaries and Cages

We also need patio size aviaries for smaller species and cocky cages for young birds.

Sponsorship

If you do not have an old aviary to give away but would like to help, we would welcome anyone that would like to buy an aviary and donate it to Fauna Rescue.

We also appreciate company sponsorship to purchase aviaries.
